#18 Sharks take down Barry in opening round of NCAA Tournament

TAMPA, Fla. -  The #18 Nova Southeastern Softball team won in thrilling fashion on Thursday afternoon at Naimoli Family Field as Brenna Lokeinsky sent the Sharks to the second round of the NCAA tournament after a game-winning RBI single to right field.

How it Happened

BOT 1st – The Sharks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after Cassidy Duskin scored off a fielder's choice. 

TOP 3rd – Barry answered with an RBI single to left field, tying the game at one apiece. 

BOT 7th – With two runners on base, Lokeinsky hits a walk off RBI to right field to secure the 2-1 victory.

The Sharks will face Tampa in the second round of the regional tournament, Friday, May 9th, at Naimoli Family Field in Tampa, Fla. First pitch is set for 12:00 PM EST.
